Our Epi-Pen course has become more and more popular in childcare settings in recent years. This is primarily due to the increasing number of allergies that have been diagnosed. Those suffering with a severe allergy are usually prescribed with an Epi-Pen or Jext pen that, if used correctly, can potentially save their life. This course will show delegates how to diagnose when an Epi-Pen/ Jext pen is required and how to administer it correctly . No previous experience is necessary to join this course, but a Basic Life Support or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification would be an clear advantage.
To provide delegates with the knowledge, skills and confidence to administer and Epi-Pen/Jext pen.
Continued practical and written skills assessment throughout the course.
