Our Paediatric First Aid course is a requirement for anyone working directly with children. This would include Nurseries, Daycare centres and Schools. When dealing with the young it is essential to recognise how signs and symptoms can differ from that of adults, and how to perform child and baby related First Aid. This course will cover a wide range of subjects that will enable delegates to assist a child, or a baby, in almost any emergency situation until emergency medical services arrive. This course meets all the requirements of OFSTED and the Department for Education and Skills (DFES). No previous experience is necessary to join this course. 
Course Aims: 
To provide the delegates with the knowledge, skills and confidence to effectively perform First Aid procedures on Children and Babies.

Primary Survey 
Recovery Position 
CPR - Child and Baby 
Bleeding management 
Choking procedures - Child and Baby 
Treatment for Shock

Assessment Criteria: 
Continued practical and written skills assessment throughout the course. 
Certificate Gained: 
Paediatric First Aid (6 Hours) 
Certificate Duration: 
3 Years (Annual refresher recommended)

*Group/On-Site Booking: £550‒(Maximum of 12 delegates) or 
*Individual/Open Course £66 per delegate 
* All costs include course materials, handbook and certification. There are no hidden costs. 
* All group/On-Site courses located to outside the M25 will come with an additional travel charge @ £0.35per mile. 
* All group/On-Site courses located more then 100 miles outside the M25 and require overnight stay will come with an additional hotel charge @ £50 per night.
