Course Details: 
Our blended paediatric course is an excellent alternative for those who are unable to attend a conventional full two day classroom course. 
 
This course meets all the requirements of OFSTED and the Department for Education and Skills (DFES). 
 
To complete this course you will be registered for the online segment of the course where you will watch a series of videos at your leisure and complete an online multiple choice assessment. Once you have completed and passed this portion of the course you will then undergo the practical stage of the course (6 hours) which is held in a classroom setting. When you have successfully completed both the online and classroom modules, you will then be issued with your certificate which is valid for three years. 
 
This course is required and suitable for Child-minders, School nurse, Nannies, Au Pairs, Nursery workers, Teachers, Pre-School and After-School Club Staff. 
Course Aims: 
To provide the delegates the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide First Aid to children and babies.

Anaphylaxis and the use of an Epi-Pen

Online session plus one day classroom session.

Online assessment plus continual practical classroom assessment.

3 Years (Annual refresher recommended)

*Individual/Open Course £90 per delegate

* All group/On-Site courses located to outside the M25 will come with an additional travel charge @ £0.35per mile. 
* All group/On-Site courses located more then 100 miles outside the M25 and require overnight stay will come with an additional hotel charge @ £50 per night.
